Living in the historic city of Kyoto, Japan, Yuka is a self-taught illustrator whose art beautifully blends Japanese pop culture with the timeless soul of classic ukiyo-e. She fell in love with anime and drawing as a kid, taught herself illustration through art books and late nights after her design job, eventually turning it into a full-time career. Her gorgeous style pulls from masters like Hokusai and Kuniyoshi, the delicate linework of Mucha, and the dreamy elegance of Yoshitaka Amano. She stepped into Web3 in late 2021 and quickly found a home in the Japanese NFT community, and soon after found the Azuki community which opened up a whole new world for her. Since then she's taken 1st place in the Azuki Mizuki Art Contest, won Benoit Pagotto's fan art contest, and hand-drawn over 200 commissions for collectors all around the globe!
